What cookies are

Analytics providers
When you allow analytics, Enabled services, which may include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Statcounter and Byoviral, may receive page URLs, browser information, referrers and network identifiers to measure readership. Google explains its data use in its partner-sites policy. Other provider information is available at Statcounter and Byoviral. Optional measurement code remains inactive when you choose essential technologies only.
Google advertising cookies
If AdSense is activated, Google and participating vendors may place or read cookies or use related identifiers to serve and measure ads. Readers may manage personalized ads through Google Ads Settings.
Managing choices
Use the controls above to allow optional analytics or keep essential technologies only. We remember that choice in local storage for up to 180 days. Withdrawing analytics consent reloads the page to stop previously loaded scripts. Browser settings can also delete or block cookies, though disabling necessary technologies may affect authentication or security features.
The analytics controls on this page do not authorize advertising. When Google’s advertising consent message is available, a separate advertising choices button appears above so you can revisit that decision. If another consent provider is used, use its privacy controls. Google advertising requires a separate Google-certified consent platform; until it is configured and supplies the required consent, the site does not load its AdSense advertising script.
